Mercedes-Benz E-Class and S-Class Vehicle Models Drive Sales

The announcement that worldwide sales from Mercedes-Benz continued to increase in August thanks to the E-Class and S-Class vehicles.

"We will be presenting a further highlight of our product range at the Paris Motor Show, where we will present the all-new generation of our styling icon, the CLS," explained Dr Joachim Schmidt, Executive Vice President Sales and Marketing at Mercedes-Benz Cars.

Mercedes-Benz Opens New Driving Simulator

There is a new driving simulator at Mercedes-Benz with a virtual excursion that has been highly anticipated and is now open in Sindelfingen, Germany.

The opening of the driving simulator is the first milestone to be reached in the expansion of the Mercedes-Benz Technology Center.

The German auto maker says that there is nowhere else in the world of automobile production where research, production, development, design and planning are working directly together.

2012 Mercedes-Benz CLS Info Leaked

The 2010 Paris Motor Show is only a few weeks away. And while most auto makers tend to keep big surprises under wraps for this historic event, sometimes a vehicle or two may leak. This is the case with the 2012 Mercedes-Benz CLS, which has been unmasked thanks to a leaked brochure.

Mercedes-Benz Rolls Last CLS Off Production Line

Mercedes-Benz has ended production of the first-generation CLS-Class - after several successful years and the hopes that a next-gen version of the vehicle will introduce it to even more customers.

Originally launched in 2004, the CLS started a styling revolution which made "four-door coupe" a household term, almost. Immediately successful, the model would go on to sell more than 170,000 units.

The last car was a CLS550 built for an American customer who specified the AMG styling package, premium leather upholstery, bi-xenon headlights, and other goodies.
